Clifford’s Poems!

Parent poems for all parents to enjoy.

My dad’s a rough tough gang banger

My dad’s a tough, rough, gang banger

I love my dad because he’s tough

My dad will fight a roaring lion

The whole neighborhood know he’s rough

My dad is very mean and loud

You better not get in his way

My dad sells drugs because he’s a thug

If you cross him you will pay

I wish he was a family man

But he is always in the streets

He is always with his stupid gang

I guess his family brings to much heat

I seen my dad beat my mom

Why be disrespectful to someone you love

I thought he was the big strong eagle

And she was his loving dove

All he does is curse and lie

Doesn’t he know that he’s to old for this

What standards will I learn from him

How to gang bang; that’s not my wish

I really love my big crazy dad

But he never says that he loves me back

He said he only loves his gang

That kind of love is really wack

He should get him a hard working job

And then he could support his family

He should teach me good morals and values

Instead of gang banging in the streets

One of my friend’s dad is a lawyer

And another one’s dad is a judge

But if you tell my dad to get a job

No matter what, he will not budge

This year i turned sixteen years old

And since i was a kid, he’s put us in lots of danger

I wish my dad was a hard working, family, man

instead of a ignorant, tough, rough, gang banger

I WISH I WAS A PARENT

IF I WERE A PARENT

I WOULD LOVE MY FAMILY

IF I WAS A PARENT

I WOULD BE MORE THAN ME

I WOULD RAISE MY CHILDREN

IN THE CORRECT WAY

I WOULD BE THEIR DAD

ALL THROUGH THE DAY

MY CHILDREN WOULD LOVE ME FOR ME

THEY WOULD BE MY SUNSHINE

LOVE WOULD BE OUR FOUNDATION

MY CHILDREN WOULD BE MINE

IF I WERE A PARENT

I WOULD BUILD MY DREAMS FOR MY CHILD

THEY WOULD BE MY FRIENDS

AND WALK WITH ME A THOUSAND MILES

I WOULD GIVE THEM JOY

I WOULD TEACH THEM ABOUT OUR CREATOR ABOVE

I WOULD GIVE THEM INSPIRATION

AND TEACH THEM HOW TO LOVE

THEY WOULD BE STRONG

THEY WOULD BE MY WORKMANSHIP

WE WOULD BE GOOD FRIENDS

WITH A PERFECT RELATIONSHIP

IF I WERE A PARENT

I WOULD PASS EVERY TEST

I WOULD LOVE MY CHILDREN

I WOULD DO MY BEST

Piece of a parent’s love

Piece of a parent’s love

is a piece of a parent’s trust

A parent is a beautiful gem

That will not collect the dust

Parents love their children

They have so much to share

Parents make the world go round

They show how much they care

Parents give life meaning

Their love is not rehearsed

They shine across the sky

A bigger love than the universe

Love and respect your parents

Love them with compassion and grace

Be a perfect child to them

Because they can never be replaced

A parent sets the pace…

A parent is very loving A parent know what’s best

A parent can calm a storm A parent can pass any test

A parent is the heart of the family A parent is the bridge that brings life together

A parent makes the sun shine bright A parent is love forever and ever

A parent gives and never takes A parent makes the world a happy place

A parent is the strength of the family A parent is a person that sets the pace

Set me free

Mom and dad’s are so fun I love them so , so, much I love them for life and beyond I love their every touch. They’ve cared for me lots of years. No one can replace their love. I love my mom and dad. They were sent form heaven above. Give your mom and dad respect. Never let their compassion depart.

Give them all your reverence. Give it from your heart. I love my mom and dad. I love them forever more. Their love over flows. Their love pores and pores. My mom and dad are very wise. They made a man out of me. My mom and dad are all I have. My mom and dad has set me free.

Goal poems for all to read.

A goal is a goal is a goal

Goal searching is a way to begin. If you make a goal you should go all the way. Be strong and proactive. Don’t be afraid of delay.

Reach high for the sky. Don’t give up in the middle. Do your best to finish. No matter if you gather a little.

A goal is a goal is a goal. You have to keep the prize in your eyes. Go for the bell and ring it. Grab the wings of the eagle and fly.

Reach up and out and ahead. Don’t give up no matter the wait. Look forward to being a champion. Believe in the path and run to the gate.

Never think that you are to small. Never think that you are not strong. Never think that you are to weak. Never think that you don’t belong.

A goal is a goal is a goal. Run with endurance and play the game fare. Follow the rules to the end. Show that you know how to care.

Success is in the hand you the climber. Pulling and pushing to take on the role. Remember to breath, and capture your need. Because a goal is goal is a goal.

One day

One day is more then none

One day is all we need

One day is full of fun

One day is a planted seed

One day is fun and laughter

One day is from above

One day is hopes and dreams

One day is full of love

One day is imagination

One day is a day of rest

One day is more then meany

One day is when I do my best

One day is all about family

One day is full of fun

One day is for my children

One day is better than none

But these streets don’t  know his name…

This is where he died, his blood was all over the street.

He was a gang banging teen, out here trying to eat.

Walking around all day, playing with guns and knives.

But little did he know, that the streets eat young people’s lives.

He would spend his nights in the trap house cooking pies.

And in these city streets is where he would die.

He joined the gang when he was only thirteen years old.

Little did he know that this story was already told.

Everybody tried telling him, to go to school and be someone great.

But still he represented, like a fish that eats the bate.

He was a dope dealing, gangster, his Jesus cross was bling.

We would pull his gun on anybody, and hustling was his thing.

His pants hung low and his eyes were red as fire.

Getting high off weed and coke was his desire.

He thought that he had friends, he thought he knew his peeps

But soon he would die, in these city streets.

He could of been a doctor or the president

But he settled for being slick and always getting bent.

He had big cash, and a pimped out ride.

He had a gang of thugs always by his side.

His cap leaned to the right, like a drunk holding on to a fence.

His look was very cold a fear of horror and intense.

He beat up all the crackheads and robbed the young and old.

But little did he know, the story had been told.

I wish he would of listened, instead of running with the mob.

He could of went to college and had a real good job.

But as he hung out thinking that he was with his friends,

Little did he know, in the streets his life would end.

Then I heard ten shots, his blood ran like a fat man would eat.

The poor young gangster thug was killed in the streets.

I tell you what’s so bad, is he was loyal to the game.

But in these city streets the bricks don’t know your name.

This is where he lied, killed by his gangster friend.

In these city streets where a teen life will end.

And just like I said, he was loyal to the game.

He was good to these bricks, but these streets don’t know his name.

Poetry is teen graduation

Poetry is teen great. Poetry is teen love. Poetry is teen wonderful. Poetry is from above.

Poetry is teen spirit. Poetry is a teen light. Poetry is beautiful. Poetry is teen right.

Poetry is teen success. Poetry is teen motivation. Poetry is teen everything. Poetry is teen graduation.

We are teens we are

We are teens we are. What we are we show. Who we are is important. Wherever we are you will know. We are teens of this world. Everyone is teen family. We will live in peace. We are teen love and harmony. Teens are very special. Give teens a helping hand. We will grow very strong. Teen united we will stand. Everywhere we go, We shall shine like a star. Teen life is our banner. We are teens we are.

I am a teen. I shall dream.

A teen is someone who continues. Someone who has a goal in life. A goal thought out and pursued, An adult that takes on sacrifice.

One who carries their own responsibility, Teens turn dreams into reality without shame. They can make their path accomplishments. Teens do not play destructive games.

Never afraid of tomorrow, Dream of a teen no sorrow. Always proactive, challenging times events. Gathering gain by education and content.

Creating a way for others to see, Embarrassing the hard work through motivation. A teen does not mind the wait of life. Teens are the strength of our nation.

Caring for all and sharing their dreams, Continuing in life esteemed as a teen.

A torch of the mighty and young, Teen spirit, teen confidence, strong. A teen is the future generation. A call for all to build up the and belong.

I am a teen and to be me I am free. I come in peace, love, and compassion, and truth. Creativity is my inner being a root. I am the power of the youth.

Me I am in front of the past, a future bright. I am a teen, I am light. A teen is a role model with high self-esteem, teens cultivate our existence, I am a teen. I shall dream.

Dream of a teen no sorrow

Dream of a teen no sorrow, Always planning for tomorrow,

challenging times and are ready, always learning to keep things steady.

Gathering gain by education, not worried about inflation.

College is in their path of living, always caring, and always giving.

Practicing motivation, searching their goals pages, accepting adult experience and stages.

A teen takes life as an accomplishment. Always mature and content.

Counting everyday as complete. Counting every second unique.

Keeping that teen torch of the mighty lit. Teen structure, success, legit.

A teen is the future written down on tablets of gold. A story to be told.

A call for all to build up esteem, A teen of assertiveness a teen esteemed.

Creativity is their inner being, a root. Teen in front of the past they salute.

They will not fear of tomorrow, Dream of a teen no sorrow.

In these city streets

In these city streets

There’s no sleep for me

How do i get money to eat

People act too crazy

Not a safe place

Wicked rat race

Fear is the enemy

Drugs and gangs is stupid

A cold way to live

Just a teen low self-esteem

Nothing positive

To many ways to die

Every day high

These city streets

not made for a teen

I would rather be home

I see how crime is hate

I’m going back home

Before it’s to late

I need to go back to school

It’s better to follow my parents rules

I don’t want to die in these streets

Police lock you up forever

It’s cold and cruel, instant defeat

I thought i was grown

I don’t want to be a Gansta rapper

I’m pulling up my thug hanging pant’s and go home

Death is on these city streets

This is not being an adult

Nothing about this is sweet

I’m going back home to my family

I don’t want to die in these city streets

Here is a little bit of Shakespeare for you to enjoy.

HAMLET

A monologue from the play by William Shakespeare

HAMLET: Speak the speech, I pray you, as I pronounced it to you, trippingly on the tongue. But if you mouth it, as many of our players do, I had as lief the town crier spoke my lines. Nor do not saw the air too much with your hand, thus, by use all gently, for in the very torrent, tempest, and (as I may say) whirlwind of your passion, you must acquire and beget a temperance that may give it smoothness. O, it offends me to the soul to hear a robustious periwig-pated fellow tear a passion to tatters, to very rags, to split the ears of the groundlings, who for the most part are capable of nothing but inexplicable dumb shows and noise. I would have such a fellow whipped for o’erdoing Termagant. It out-herods Herod. Pray you avoid it. Be not too tame neither, but let your own discretion be your tutor. Suit the action to the word, the word to the action, with this special observance, that you o’erstep not the modesty of nature. For anything so overdone is from the purpose of playing, whose end, both at the first and now, was and is, to hold, as ’twere, the mirror up to nature, to show virtue her own feature, scorn her own image, and the very age and body of the time his form and pressure. Now this overdone, or come tardy off, though it make the unskillful laugh, cannot but make the judicious grieve, the censure of the which one must in your allowance o’erweigh a whole theatre of others. O, there be players that I have seen play, and heard others praise, and that highly (not to speak profanely), that neither having th’ accent of Christians, nor the gait of Christian, pagan, nor man, have so strutted and bellowed that I have thought some of Nature’s journeymen had made men, and not made them well, they imitated humanity so abominably. Reform it altogether! And let those that play your clowns speak no more than is set down for them, for there be of them that will themselves laugh, to set on some quantity of barren spectators to laugh too, though in the meantime some necessary question of the play be then to be considered. That’s villainous and shows a most pitiful ambition in the fool that uses it. Go make you ready.

Spirituality is a way of life. Enjoy our spiritual poems.

Will there be anyone left

What is a Christian to a Muslim? What is a Muslim to a Jew? What is Buddha to Vishnu? What is the religion that is true?

What is peace to a man? What is the real meaning of life? What is the true name of our Creator? Does our Creator have a wife?

Why do some women say god is a woman? Why do people say they worship the stars? Who is the real Creator? Does he live close or does he live far?

Where do we go when we die? Do we come back to try it again? Is right and wrong enemies? Is life the way and death the sin?

Is man himself the creator! If he is why does he do wrong? What is the reason for believing in something? On this earth is where we all belong!

Why do the preachers preach their word? Why do the people read their books? Should we all be afraid of the end? Should we turn over rocks to look?

When will the religions make peace? Will this war ever end? Will the people come together and eat at the table? Can we live together as friends?

Who is the one that will save us? Shall heaven be a place of peace. What do we do when the time is near? Shall all bow down to the beast?

Who will change the way that we think? Who will change the way that we feel? Who shall change the way that we live? Are we born just to be killed?

Is Jesus and Mohamed brothers? Is the nations cousins and friends? Does this world come from a bang? Is the color of race a blend?

Should we love each other or fight? Should we fight each other or love? Should we search for answers to questions we know? Is their a Father above?

What can the people do to make peace? Should all just fight to the death? Who shall win when it’s over? Will there be anyone left?

Death is something we all must live. Enjoy our poems about death.

For she is mine

She died just the other day. Why did you take my love away? I cried and cried and cried. Why oh why, did she die? This is the end of a loving relationship and friends. The end of something so dear to me. My love was free.

No more smiles and moments of desire. Now my heart is set on fire and you oh death is a liar. You cannot stand to see that my heart burns for her love. She was my maiden of sweetness from above.

If only I could hear her voice. If only I could see her one more time. I would challenge death to a duel for her love to be mine. Fight oh death and let me win her back? Let me be the conquer and you be attacked.

You shall bring her back to me. I desire her love, I plead. Oh death no more, oh death I shall settle the score. She was so dear to me. We were together forever and you took her away. There is nothing left, and I shall fight you death.

I shall pursue you and break the chains that you have held so many tight. I shall thrust the sword in your spirit, with all my might. I shall win her back and destroy your reign. No one shall ever again bring forth your name.

They shall morn for you oh death, they shall morn. For no more lives will be torn by your hands. I warn you now, to bring my love back to me, or you will pay a suffering fee.

This shall not be the end of friends. I cried and cried and cried, and will not give up until you are no more. You shall not take another life. You shall not take another man’s wife. Adulterous, you are. Fight me for her back, you swine. Give her back to me, for she is mine.

The grave

The grave does not sleep. The grave does not care. The grave does play fare. Eat, eat, eat. The grave is not sweet. In the grave you will sleep. The grave is where death holds it prey. Only to wish for another day.

The grave does not play. Life after life, it takes away. The grave is a lech. The grave can not give anyone the promise of life. It is only a place of wait. It is the grave of a silent state. No one can defeat him for his treasure of lives he stole from us. The grave is an enemy, you cannot trust.

No one can make a deal to open the eyes of so many lives he has taken. The grave is something forsaken. He does not frown. He pulls you down. Down to his place of sleep. The grave is not sweet. The grave does not fear defeat. Life after life it takes. Only to wish for another day. He is not apart of life. He is not the way.

He is a slave to mankind. He is a friend of death. The grave will eat until there is nothing left. I am not a slave to the grave. The grave cannot win. He is full of sin. I laugh at his appearance. I pull back my bow to strike his dark heart. When I battle him for lives, he will depart. I shall trick him, because he is not smart.

Even though he does not fear mankind. He is blind. I know he is tired because he has to many enemies. He cannot afford to sleep. He is fat, and he will eat and eat. But I shall capture him and hold him in life’s prison forever and he shall not be clever.

He shall not be able to escape the chains that have been molded to hold him. I shall break his sting and he shall no longer reign as a king. There shall never be another wait, because the life of the grave I shall take. He shall be my slave. I will change his name and he will not be called the grave.
